Iowa senator trying to extend fuel tax credit (Keokuk Daily Gate City)

FORT MADISON –– The Environmental Protection Agency last week issued its final rule for implementation of the expanded Renewable Fuel Standard. It sets a long-term goal of producing 36 billion gallons of renewable fuel by 2022. The fuels include ethanol, advanced biofuels and biodiesel.

GM's new heavy trucks to run on biodiesel blend (INO News)

(AP:NEW YORK) General Motors said Monday its new lineup of heavy-duty diesel pickups will be capable of running on a biodiesel blend fuel. The pickups will run on B20 fuel, which is a mix of 20 percent biodiesel and 80 percent conventional diesel.
